How to Apply

Every business starts with an idea, a problem worth solving, or a better way of doing something. Maybe you've already started and you're ready to grow. Maybe you've built a product that needs more room to scale. Wherever you are in your journey, we want to understand what you're building, why it matters, and what you plan to do with the opportunity.

  1. TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS

    Tell us what you do, the problem you're solving, and what you've built so far.

  2. SHOW US WHAT YOU'RE BUILDING

    Record a short video telling us what problem your business solves, what makes it different, where you want to take it, and what the grant would help you do.

  3. WE REVIEW YOUR APPLICATION

    We'll review all eligible applications and shortlist businesses to move to the next stage.
    Shortlisted businesses will be invited to Open House 2026 in Lagos to pitch their business live. At the end of the session, three businesses will be selected as grant recipients.

Who can apply for the Piggyvest Business Grant?

The grant is open to registered businesses in the fashion, beauty or food and hospitality sectors that have been operating for at least six months.

How do I apply?

Complete the application form and submit a short video no longer than 5 minutes telling us about your business, what you're building, and how the grant would help you grow.

Is there a cost to apply?

No. Applying for the Piggyvest Business Grant is completely free.

What happens after I submit my application?

We'll review all eligible applications and shortlist qualified businesses. Shortlisted businesses will be invited to pitch their business live at OpenHouse 2026, where three grant recipients will be selected.

Do I need to attend Open House in person to apply?

No. You can apply without attending OpenHouse. However, if you're shortlisted, you'll need to be available in Lagos to pitch your business live at OpenHouse 2026.

How will the ₦10 million be shared?

The ₦10 million grant will be awarded across three businesses: 1st place — ₦5,000,000 2nd place — ₦3,000,000 3rd place — ₦2,000,000

When is the application deadline?

Applications close on September 18, 2026. Late submissions won't be considered.

When will winners be announced?

The three grant recipients will be announced live at OpenHouse 2026 on September 26, 2026.
